When Will it End?

It's Ramadhan. Tapi...

Kekejaman, di Syria.

Protes, di Mesir

Tak berpenghujung, di Palestin

Dan banyak lagi, Libya, Morocco.....

SYRIA...
It's been very long since it started. Since the Arab Spring.
Bashar's regime against his own citizens. Many lives have been taken. It's Ramadhan, but still, the brutality doesn't get any lesser.

When will it end? Only Allah knows.

 EGYPT
Ketika Mubarak jatuh, dan Morsi mengambil alih, they thought they've achieve freedom and victory.

But...there are still minorities who don't want Morsi. Minorities? No one thought that...
....it'll happens once again, another revolution.

Jatuhnya Presiden Morsi.

PALESTINE
Palestine, an open-air prisoner. Prisoner of the innocents. Caged by ruthless Zionists Israelis. Being bombed and shot for nothing. Being oppressed and lands taken.

Once, there were supply given by Egypt through Rafah and tunnels. That were the only connection they have with the outside world. But, since the fall of Morsi, the tunnels were collapsed, Rafah was closed by the Egyptians military themselves.

Now, they're stuck, lack of supply for oil, food and other basic needs.

But, Allah will always help his servants. Allah dah janji, Palestine will be free.

"We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of Palestinians" - Nelson Mandela

Tengok, orang kafir pun cakap macam tu.

May Allah bless them, especially in this holy month of Ramadhan. Grant them shahid, Ya Allah. They're my brothers. They're my sisters. May victory and happiness be granted for Your faithful servants.
Friends, let's pray for them. Doa itu senjata orang Islam. Orang kafir mana ada senjata ni.
Let's pray for them!!

Ikhwan! Jadi 'Sebelah Sayap' Aku, Boleh?

Another video from Matluthfi!

I bet most of you have watched it. Just wanna give some of my thoughts about this video, and bercakap tentang ukhuwah ye di situ.

The video made me smile~ ^.^

Matluthfi had made another amazing video that left me thinking again and again.

To hope, I need to fear..

I actually wanna elaborate more but it's gonna be too long and yeah, let's just talk about ukhuwah!

A GOOD IKHWAN IS THE ONE WHO! :

  • HIS ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS!
It is! Look how Luthfi try to help his drunkard friend, Ihsan. He didn't really talk or try to preach his friend much. But he did his best to help him.

He listened to him when he's in trouble.
He help to trash those liquors.
He gave a simple initiative for him to change slowly, he gave HOPE ^.^ (that's what people are lacking)

While the other friend, keep preaching him, in a wrong way. He seems to try to find his mistakes than helping him. I don't even think that he acted as a friend, or a brother.

He wasn't there when Ihsan was in trouble.
He hastily blaming him.
He don't understand people's feeling!

  • UNDERSTANDS HIS 'BROTHER'
Ihsan, the drunkard KNOWS that liquor is haram in Islam. So, Reefqi must understand that.

The problem is, Ihsan doesn't know how to stop cause he have to fight his emotions with those liquor. Do you think it's easy for a drunkard to stop drinking!? It's like trying to stop smoking or drugs.

And another problem is that he got a very dark family background. His father is a drunkard. So, it's hard for him cause he already used to it! He already used to have liquors as the solution for all his emotional problems.

So, if his friend keep preaching him (seem more like perli) and blaming him for that, it's a bit useless.
I mean like, WHO DOESN'T KNOW THAT LIQUOR IS HARAM!? Most Muslims do.

So, Reefqi must understands that Ihsan can't just stop drinking just like that!

Ihsan needs someone to support him to stop drinking those alcohols. He needs a friend to lead him to Allah slowly because he started to understand Islam a bit late. And Luthfi try to.

  • THINKS POSITIVE

Well, Reefqi suggested that Ihsan does not believe in Allah because he still drinks liquor.

And...yeah, you know what I'm trying to say right?

Doesn't mean when someone does a bad thing, he's a bad person, right?

And right now, in our society, ramai yang TAHU tapi ramai yang tak SEDAR. Bahaya tu!

But in this case, sesetengah TAHU dan SEDAR, but they don't know how or afraid to change! Sebab stigma masyarakat kita yang negatif.

"Apa buang tabiat ke budak ni?"

"Alaah, bajet je tu nak tobat.."

"Kau! Hijrah! Eish, orang macam kau ni nak tobat, tak caye aku!"

"Kau dosa banyak gila! Tuhan nak ampunkan ke?"

PEOPLE CHANGE! They're not animals, who eat the same type of food and habit until they die! (well, there are some rare cases)

Kerana stigma negatif ni, orang takut nak berubah. So, as a good friend, kalau rasa macam tak cukup ilmu tu, jangan risau.

Just ajak mereka bila kita nak solat ke, pergi masjid, pergi ceramah, study, and with hopes, they'll get used to it and change!

YOU'RE A FRIEND, NOT A TEACHER or a COUNSELOR. You don't really need nice words. So act like one! Just be there for them! Sokong, jangan condemn. Jadi sebelah sayapnya untuk dia terus terbang.

Kita umat Islam kan bersaudara~!

"If religion fails to offer hope, it is not divinely from God"

So, hayatilah Islam. Jika tidak, kita rasa kosong.

Egypt To Me

So, a few weeks ago, I went to visit my brother at Alexandria, Egypt. Well, I'm not gonna tell you about where we go, what we do. I just gonna tell you about what is Egypt to me, how I feel after visiting it.

At first, I expect Egypt as a developing country better than Indonesia, the place maybe gonna be kinda dirty. And I also expect the Egyptians themselves are probably rough but kind and friendly to us.

But, I was wrong. The dirtiness and highway jam are worse than Jakarta. Rubbish everywhere it looks like slums except at the at the city where the rich people live, of course. And they are very rough one. But if there are some of them who are kind, they are very, very kind. Oh, what was Hosni Mubarak doing all this time to you, Egypt?

Not all the Egyptian Muslimah are well-covered. They're actually very 'fashionable'. Red blouse, blue tight jeans and red shawl. White inner, green sweater, green floral shawl, tight black jeans and nice furry boots. Wow.

And it's a bit hard to differentiate the Muslims and the Christians here. There are Christians who also wear shawl like the Muslims. They also say Insha-Allah and Wa-Allahi when they talk because it's their language you know. And the shawls are also is their culture.

While I was in Egypt, there are still 'muzaharat' a.k.a demonstration where they gather and talk and ban and sometimes doing chaos. Yeah, it still happen because the Pro-Mubarak and whoever are banning Mursi, the current Egypt president. And macam-macamlah kesnya. Well, it's not really teruk sangat. Just maybe, causing jam. Come on, you all. Mubarak is nothing anymore. Mursi is a nice guy and try to help you all. Come on-lah.

The jam, oh yes. Especially in Cairo when the 'dustur' aka 'perlembagaan' baru cannot be carried and implemented as there are less vote for it to be implemented and used. So, they don't have, easy to say, rules yet. So, gosh the roads were so, so congested with cars and people crossing the roads calmly like there are no cars. One person almost stuck between two cars. But she just stay cool..

But after venturing Egypt for two weeks, I see Egypt has a lot of potential to rise again. Under the new reign of Mursi, Egypt can rise as a developed country. I know that, I believed that.

And here are are some of our pictures in Egypt!

I'm an Aunt!

Just back from hostel!!

Pagi tadi kawad. So, sekarang kita berehat sebentar bersama FB dan Blogger.
Menang? Not really~

4th place from 5 teams. Ok lah tu kan~
But my cousin said," Perempuan kawad? Kelakarlah."
Suka hati dialah. He never saw me marching. So, what so funny, ha!

And, I felt very excited to go home! Because...I wanna see my sister's baby! Her first child and my first nephew! Born last week~

When I saw him, for the first time, with my kawad uniform, "Waaa~ so cute~"

Hi there!

His name is Iliyyin Zaidan! At first I heard my mother said, "Ili Zaidan.."

"Ili?", sounds like a girl's name.

 "Iliyyin." my mother correct me.

Ooooo. What a nice and unique name. I wonder what will people call him when he grown up?

Iliyyin? Too hard to call.
Zaidan? Sounds right to me.
Ili? Please don't..
Liyyin? -_-' Bolehla~
Zaidan pun dah ok.

And what will he call me?

Auntie?
Mak cik?
Mak Teh?

.....Now I realize that I'm getting old...

It's okay! Everyone's getting old! Including YOU!

And welcome, Iliyyin Zaidan, to our family~ Alhamdulillah~

So that's all for now!

This is MAFIA!

Mafia? Am I really gonna talk about that gangsters called mafia? No way! I gonna talk about another MAFIA, which are my best friends and I.  And someone interviewed us. Here are some of the talks~

You are MAFIA?! Yup! Well,  we 'were' MAFIA.

For real? You all hit people? Nope. At that time, we were just primary school students and we're not even really that bad and 'ganas' to be called mafia. (Ganas sikit kot...)

So, why were you calling yourselves 'MAFIA'? It is because...of our names..M for Maziah, A for Aina, F for Fazrin, I for Iffah (it's me!) and  the last A for Aaminatul. And that makes the name M.A.F.I.A. So we call ourselves MAFIA..but don't worry we are not like a bunch of bad, gangster type of girls.

Are you all still together? Nope. We are all in different schools now (except the two of us) but still, with the power of 'ukhuwah' and the communication technology, we are still friends and connected by Facebook! (Dunia dah maju!) terima kasih Mark Zuckeberg~

"Ok, thanks for spending your time with us, fellow MAFIA....I really enjoy talking with you all..hoping that we'll meet again next time. And, may Allah keep your ukhuwah connected guys, I mean girls.."

"And that's all for now, we'll meet again next week with Arashi, a band from Japan (hahaha) and here are some information about the MAFIA."

Sabby, stay genius!

These are My Friends.....and my Brother! - Part 4

ADIB AFIFI
This is my brother, Adib. He's 18 and currently studying medic at Alexandria, Egypt. Tahu cerita dia dekat blog je walaupun duduk satu rumah. Waktu kecik-kecik dulu suka buli, suruh ambik jambu, mangga, ejek orang (buli ke tu?). Tapi bila dah masuk asrama, senyap je, baik je....which makes my younger brother wondering, what's wrong with him. I'm not so close to him but I know that he's a cool but sensitive person for a few reasons. He's unique. Abang Adib! Selamat belajar dan jaga diri elok2 kat sana! We all miss you~

NURUL HIDAYAH
We're in the same batch. She's actually a talkative person and sometimes always babbling to her friends. Stay cute DJ!

MAZIAH PUAT
Maziah yang di kanan ye! My best friend since primary school. A 'gila'2 type and quite talkative. Jangan main-main sama dia. Pandai pulak tu. I always compete with her in the class. Sometimes she wins, sometimes it's me. Hehehe. But still we're friends forever! ^.^

Just another part left! Soon!

Qurratul Ain, on your right! Seorang yang pandai dan comel. Same batch and also have the same interest like me. J-POP! Hihi..She loves to watch anime and a close friend to Sabrina Zaid. Doesn't talk very much. I think the one who are close to Sabby are geniuses like you Ain!

NURIN JAZLINA
Yang ini Nurin Jazlina. Nama familar? Well, she got nothing to do with that murdered girl. My first impression towards her, macam 'kerek' je...huhuhu..She's not. She is really friendly and she was my dormmate and classmate. Fan of Liverpool  football team and Kat-tun, the Japanese band! We always talk about J-POP and stuff. Stay cool, Nurin!

NASUHA IZZATI
Yang pakai cermin mata tu, tu Nasuha. We call her Cu'a. She's my classmate and the tallest in my class. Sometimes, she's a bit clumsy but that makes her look cuter. Hihi...very hardworking in studying and very loyal to her friend, Nani and Aida. Peminat K-POP no.1! Stay cute, Cua!

WAFFA FARHANAH
Waffa Farhanah, my old friend. I knew her at the primary school. We were quite close when we were in Standard 5. She sat just beside me at that time. She is currently studying at the Hira' secondary school. Pernah jadi pengawas kat sekolah rendah. Garang wooo...tapi dengan junior je. Dengan kitorang, baik je. Rindulah nak jumpa dia...A cool friend she is.

That's all for now...another part later~

Which one is Husna? She's on the right! My classmate and yet a very friendly person. Muka dia ada ala-ala minah Arab sikit. Cantik dan bijak! The first time I saw her, I thought she was a quiet person, very hardworking in studying but when I start to befriend with her....she is very friendly, likes to laugh (dgn Nurin, Alia, Afrina, Nadia) and it's really fun to be her friend. Husna, harap2 kita satu kelas ye tahun depan!

NUR AFRINA NADRAH
Couldn't find her picture..but it's okay.....Nur Afrina, sangat pendiam dan baik~ My classmate and a very close friend to girl named Alia. AIN FARISYA
Nama diberi Ain Farisya bt Abdul Kader. Some call her Farisya, some call her Ain tapi dulu ramai yang panggil dia 'Malay'. Kenapa? It's a long story. My classmate last year. Seorang yang pendiam but we're quite close and she always help me in my studies because she's a smart girl you know! Terima kasih, Adila yg comel! She also happens to be a K-POP die-hard fan. Huhu....Adila, walaupun aku agak rapat dengan kau, aku takkan terpengaruh dengan K-POP! No way!! Hehe~ ^o^

NUR ZAIM NAJWA

This one is Zaim. She also live in the same hostel with me. Last year, she was my dormmate. But, still, she always came visiting my dorm! Friends forever!

FATYN NABIHAH
Which one is Fatyn? The one with glasses, on the most right. She was my friend at the primary school and at SAMTTAJ. A genius who I've always feel jealous of. What to say?

Assalamualaikum and I believe you, the one who's reading right now. Yes, you, are enjoying your holiday. The TWO WEEKS holiday! The SUMMER holiday! Well, yes, I know Malaysia don't have that kind of season. It's practically called 'summer' for the four-seasons country which are having summer at this time (Geografi kan ada~). You know what? Actually, I'm not sure what I want to talk about. Holiday? It just started.

Before I wrote this, I mean, typed this, I got LOTS OF IDEAS what I want to write. But the moment I reached in front of  the computer, I got blank. All those ideas just vanished! And, yeah, I feel frustrated!! That's what I felt when I'm writing this post! But something new remind me. Something that my sister showed me till it enters my dream (If reading this K. Izzah, jangan gelak). It was ARASHI!
Who is ARASHI? Well, I don't really know them. But  the most important is they're not from KOREA. Thy're not K-Pop. They're from JAPAN! J-Pop! (FYI, I'm not a K-Pop lover). Although they're not so cute like Korean bands but they're kinda friendly. They're just like friends and cool and doesn't act famous and popular. And that's the way I like it~

I never heard their songs but is it necessary? Because, you know, I'm not trying to be their fan. My sister just showed them and...and yeah (what to say), they are funny. Haha. (That's why I put the title of this post What to Say?)Bye and Wassalam~

Fenomena Maher Zain

(
apa kaitan semua ni dengan Maher Zain?). Tiba-tiba, lagu Maher Zain, For the Rest of My Life pula dimainkan daripada radio tadi. Itulah lagu Maher Zain pertama yang aku dengari. Namun, aku hanya buat selamba (bak kata CoachRidz) kerana aku memang tidak tahu apa-apa pun pasal lagu tu. Tak pernah dengar, tak tahu siapa yang nyanyi, tak tahu tajuknya.

Aku meminta temanku meneruskan ceritanya, namun dia khusyuk menyanyi lagu tersebut. Lalu, dia menceritakan tentang penyanyi lagu tersebut, Maher Zain. Di situlah aku mula-mula mengenali beliau.

Sekarang, hampir satu Malaysia mengenali beliau. Radio IKIM hari-hari mainkan lagu Maher Zain. Kedai-kedai CD dekat PKNS mainkan lagu Maher Zain. Pergi kenduri mainkan lagu Barakallah.
Inilah fenomena Maher Zain.

I'm his fan too but not so much! Just wait and see....

Raihan

I miss the old Raihan. Raihan, who is that? Your friend? No, Raihan is a nasheed group that was very famous years ago and they still singing right now but not as famous as years ago. But they still famous at the overseas. Well, why they are not so famous as it was years ago? Because Nazrey Johani, the leader, left the group for a few reasons. I don't even know why but I felt a bit sad at that time. He is the 'ayam tambatan' of the group. He has the best voice among all his teammate.

Why I love the old Raihan is because it have Nazrey Johani and also teaches me and other children a lot of things. With their songs, I can memorize all 25 prophets through 25 Rasul song. All !0 malaikat through '10 Malaikat'. And lots of their songs influenced our life.

Every time I heard Raihan's song, I felt nostalgic because I always hear their song when I was still cute and chubby, oops, I mean when I was still in kindergarten. I love their song very much. I like to sing them like I like to sing Maher Zain's song now. I will always remember their songs.

Bye, need to go breakfast now.Wassalam.
