Movies Mania

 This weekend I watch two movies and a drama. S.A.M. and 29 Februari.
And there you are!

 I'm freaking fell in love with this movie. It's kinda fresh and unique than other Malay movies we've always watched. It's a romantic thriller movie. And it's not a typical romantic movie. At first, Sam and Lisa (same as their original name) are couples being so sweet and funny, they were a bit comedy.And then suspense. A freaking suspense suspense!

 The story started with the romantic sweet scenes telling about their relationship. Then, the story moves on and showed how much Lisa is admired by many other men and how much Sam is envied at their workplace. And there's a very obsessed man, Haikal who is really crazy about Lisa and threaten to hurt Sam. There's also another man who turned out to be Lisa's ex-boyfriend.

 Until this one night, Sam found out that he was trapped in an empty factory. He tried to escape but he must save Lisa who is hidden by the mastermind of their kidnap.And what happens next? Who is the actual mastermind of the kidnap...and murder!?

Huhu, what's happens next was so surprising! It was so unexpected. 4 and a half stars! MUST WATCH!

P/S: I cried. I mean......I almost cried.

 This one is about a boy called Budi. He was born in 29th February 18-something. The day that only happened on leap year, once in every 4 years.And same as he is. He's growing up and aging only once in 4 years. That means he got to live so long until to this era. And at the same time, that means he have to endure many loss of the ones that he loved.

This film actually focused on his romantic relationship with a Chinese girl, Lily, their forbidden love. Will they ever unite?

 In my opinion, the main thing is about Budi and his long long life, but it seems like it doesn't brought much significance to the story. Seriously. The story comes out not as I expected. This film is a musical but still, I can't associate his phenomenal aging and his love story and the event that happened around him.

It's a bit boring but still entertaining and have it's message. And nice OST. Hmmm, 3 stars.


There you are, two malay movies I watched in one night! S.A.M was awesome! But 29 Februari seems a bit.....bored and seems a bit of a failure.

Drama-ing

Just got home today!

Agak penat....dan ngantuk sikit. Baru balik dari Seminar B. Arab kat sekolah.
Ni nak story-mory lah sikit.

 Last night, we watched this one drama called Naziha (heard of it?). Yeah, we're not supposed to watch TV, and the purpose of staying at the hostel for an extra night is to study for the PMR. But, an hour watch won't harm, right?

I don't really watch drama, especially Malay drama and I'm not really a fan of this drama, Naziha but you know when you've already watched the first episode, you're kinda stick to it. Including this Naziha. Tapi tengok sampai episod tiga je kot. And then, time Ramadhan, tak dapat nak tengok. So, skip banyak episod and time dah raya, tengok balik.

Walaupun dah melangkau entah berapa episod, tapi faham lagi sebab tidak ada banyak konflik yang mampu memutarbelitkan minda-minda penonton, ceng! So, apa yang terjadi sepanjang kami meninggalkan drama ini? Probably, ada scene bomoh, cerai and all other unnecessary plots, katanya. Drama Melayu kan.

 So, back to the last night story, we all, form 3, watch-lah. Ada yang pernah tengok, ada yang tak pernah langsung. Coincidently, that night is the last episode of Naziha. We watched with full of anticipation and suspense.

So, how does it end? Adam, the hero, who have always been loyal to the heroin, Naziha (who also love him) from the first episode didn't get to marry each other. Instead, she was married to Adam's cousin, Akmal who is kind and then bad and then back to a kind character.

What da?

For all this time, he's been like sacrificing everything for her and this is what he got? He's the hero. But as he said "Cinta tak semestinya bersatu..". Oh yeah.

And yeah, Akmal and Naziha got married and Adam was like forever alone~
We were like, "kesiannya dia.."

Kemudian, si Adam ni siap jadi pengapit and driver pengantin tu lah. Kitorang lagilah " weh, kesiannya".
And we somehow, expecting some death scene. It's typical in the last episode of Malay drama. Pastu, adalah si Farouk (he's like a devil, seriously, he's like, everywhere)

He was like "no one can have my Naziha" although he already divorced her.
But this scene it was very tense for us, with some screams like it was a ghost story.

The pengantin baru and Adam is in a car. Farouk is also in a car, "aaahhh!!"

And Farouk is following their car "AAAAAAH!! Farouk nak bunuh diorang! "

"Jangan langgar! Jangan langgar!" Tapi....he just blocked them, make them stopped their car by the side of the road, Oppa Farouk Style, like he always did from the first episode. Blocking and stopping people by the side of the road to cari pasal. And yeah, they both stop. Farouk got out from his car first and make that weird, smug face, Oppa Farouk Style.

Adam dengan beraninya keluar dari kereta. Akmal ikut. And then Akmal try to get closer to Farouk and we were like, histerical, "AKMAL, JANGAN, NANTI DIA TIKAM, JANGAN DEKAT SGT!". And I thought Farouk is gonna stabbed him quietly, spontaneously. But, as he finished talking to him and walked away further and further and we were like phew~

BUT! The moment we waiting for. Farouk brought out the knife, for real! "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
We were freaking histerical. And Farouk ran to Akmal to kill him, BUT Adam noticed the knife AND he try to protect Akmal and......the knife, stabbed into ADAM! GOAL! I knew it!

Naziha was like crying by the dying Adam and Akmal was freaking mad and punched and kicked and whatever to Farouk. And he flashback all his sweet memories he had with his dear cousin, Adam. And that makes him so freaking hate Farouk. And I noticed that some of us, was touched.... and cried.

Akmal and Naziha sat beside Adam and Adam died...(ToT)

And it ended! By the way, its fun watching drama with friends. It was like, meriah!

Then we heard from the boys' hostel, somebody shouted, "ADAM MATI! ADAM MATI!" and I was like, they watched this drama? Oookay..

Do I like the ending? Oh yes I do! Why? Because I love to see main character dead at  the end of a story, especially the hero. Because this shows that the hero is not always that tough and happy at the end. And I prefer sad ending.

The end. (Sedih la jugak dia mati, tapi, cerita je pun, tiada kaitan sama ada dengan yang hidup ataupun yang dah tiada)

Movie Talks!

 Yesterday, I watch two movies! And that are.....

Sekali Lagi and Hafalan Shalat Delisa, a Malay movie and an Indonesian movie. I admit that I cried on both movies.

Let's first talk about SEKALI LAGI. Sekali Lagi memang dah lama keluar tapi baru nak tengok sebab kawan kata best. Jadi, saya pun download-lah dari internet. 

The part where he called Shila "auntie".

The movie is about an autistic man, Arman who was saved by a young little girl called Amy. So, they become best friends until one day, Amy's mother, Shila doesn't allow Amy to see Arman anymore. Why? What's wrong? Because she has some kind of dark past with him. And then what happen?Watch it for yourself! (Sorry, if you REALLY want to know, watch it).

After watching it, hmmm, I probably give 4 stars for the movie. You know, I love this movie because the movie make you laugh and cry at the same time because of Arman's childishness. Sometimes you will feel kinda pity of him. And Amy is so cute~ Their acting are just so good. And the ending was just ok but just hoping that....well, watch it first!

If you don't want to watch it, it's okay! But, you know, it's fun!

Searching for their house although he knows it's already vanished.

 I discovered HAFALAN SHALAT DELISA at the Facebook when my brother shared the full movie at the Facebook. I know it is now showing at Astro First but I don't have Astro First. I was kinda excited to watch it because I've read the book before. So, I watched it on the Facebook.

 It is adapted from a novel by Tere Liye, about a cheerful girl, Delisa who lost her siblings and her leg due to a tsunami that strikes her village, Lhok Nga, Aceh. The only family member that she has is her father who works at a ship. While her mother is missing.

But while Delisa was staying in the hospital, she got some new friends and she was like a little angel that brought smile to other people around her.

What happens next? Where is her mother? Go, I recommend you to watch it. Full of message~

My opinion on this film? 4 stars, too! Good acting, especially the girl and Nirina Zubir. After watching this, I kinda cried and smiled and feel very lucky to live in this condition. The moral of the story, live life to the fullest.

So, that are the movies I've watched and I just can't decide which is better because they have different genre and storyline. All I know is that both of them are just nice to watch!
